Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Nova Academy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account on behalf of a child, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and your child.

Description of Service

Nova Academy is an educational platform that provides AI-powered mathematics instruction for children in grades K-5. The Service includes interactive lessons, progress tracking, and personalized learning recommendations.

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

Children's Accounts

Children under 13 may only use the Service with parental consent and supervision. Parents are responsible for their child's use of the Service and compliance with these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, educational purposes. You may not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Copy, modify, or distribute content from the Service without permission
  • Use automated systems to access the Service

Intellectual Property

All content on Nova Academy, including lessons, activities, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Nova Academy or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

Beta Service

Nova Academy is currently in beta. The Service is provided "as is" and may contain bugs, errors, or other issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation during the beta period.

Features and functionality may change without notice during the beta period.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOVA ACADEMY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time through the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
